Meet Your Teacher
Rana
Hello Soar Kidz! My name is Teacher Rana, and I’m beyond excited to read with you! I started my teaching journey as a middle school teacher and later earned my Master’s Degree in Education with a certification in English. After 20 wonderful years in education, I'm here to share my passion for reading with all of you! Creating a safe and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas is very important to me. Together, we'll learn and grow as a community. One of my absolute favorite books is Wonder by R.J. Palacio. It's a beautiful story about a 10-year-old boy trying to navigate middle school, all while looking different than his peers. It's a great lesson on empathy, acceptance and understanding what is really important in life. I can't wait to embark on this reading journey together!
