Meet Your Teacher
Jeny
Hello Soar Kidz! I'm Teacher Jeny and I'm so excited to start working with students. I am a TV writer living in Los Angeles, California and I have written lot of shows for kids . After 20 wonderful years in education, I'm here to share my passion for reading with all of you! Creating a safe and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas is very important to me. Together, we'll learn and grow as a community. One of my absolute favorite books is Wonder by R.J. Palacio. It's a beautiful story about a 10-year-old boy trying to navigate middle school, all while looking different than his peers. It's a great lesson on empathy, acceptance and understanding what is really important in life. I can't wait to embark on this reading journey together!
