Description
Hello there! My name is Ashley Adamson and I am a teacher, wife and mom to two young book lovers. I have worked with children for the past 13 years and love having the opportunity to combine my love for kids with my passion for literature. I believe that reading can and should be a joyful experience. It allows us the chance to explore new worlds and meet characters who can at times help us better understand each other or even ourselves. My favorite part of teaching for the SOAR KIDZ is getting to know the wonderful students. Getting to know someone over a chat about books is a lovely thing. While I enjoy most novels, the one I recommend most often is Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. It may be old but its themes of family, resilience and hope are just as timely today as they were back then.
